What's is happening in my studio
I am experimenting with gelatin printing. I enjoy working with the soft print plate. Ok I admit I have 'broken' already so many plates since I abuse the softness of the gelatin by pressing to hard down. But even when the plate is cracked the results can still be great. Needless to say, one can put the broken plate into the microwave for half a minute and pour the gelatin back into a dish and wait for it to harden and off I go again. More printing.Very relaxing very enjoyable technique. Stay tunes results will follow.

First Annual ASA Chalk Walk Exhibition

Join us Friday evening for our First Annual ASA Chalk Walk Exhibition.

Stand your Ground

I have to break my own rule again. yes I know I said my blog would only be about art and art related topics. Well, I changed my mind. Political, social or environmental issues mano more for that matter affect my art work. That mean I guess I have not really changed my mind, this is about my art work.

I created 'Stand your ground' last year after the shooting.... so no you are not looking at a new piece, but a piece that just became important again. I wish it would have been in a different way. I am so so sorry....

Detail of 'Plasma' another piece 'without color'. I can see why working with black and white could become addictive.

Working on another 'color me', black and white with some gray. Not an easy undertaking for somebody who's forte clearly is color.
