But 'True Blood' is ready for her first appearance, she will go to the 'Blowing Rocks Preserve' exhibition 'Global Visions' opening January 30.

Photography

Taking my own pictures of my art work becomes more and more one of the tasks I am doing on a almost daily base. To make this easier for me and my husband I decided to invest in some new 'help'. The new help is better 'lighting' in form of a bigger flash and soft filters. I have no intentions whatsoever to replace my photographer, but I only go ever so often to have my work professionally photographed. But I still need shots and  those I would like to have them in a good quality too.  My husband found a very helpful website with even more excellent hints for purchasing my 'helpers'. This is the site I am talking about. Check it out for yourself.

Jewelry piece of the month

The Holidays are over, I am back in my studio. As much as I LOVE the colors of the Christmas season  I get really excited when I can go and store all the red gold and green away and  pull out new fabrics and paint.  And this is of course true for my jewelry too. So I am starting 09 with a fresh 'mint' beach glass necklace. Remember I live in Miami, the beach is just around the corner. The necklace consist, besides the 'found' beach g;ass pieces, of recycled glass beads, turquoise, fresh water pearls and silver beads.
